So beautifully stated. They were out of this world. They were the best duo to ever work their magic on the screen. They put you into a sublime trance that you never want to wake up from.

Beautiful video for the most remembered dancers. Fred and Ginger are lovely together. Their dances get you into them so much. These two are never forgotten!

I was only 2 when singing in the rain came out....it seems I missed this beautiful era..thank goodness for youtube! I was a teen during the hippie era....something was just lost...how can we ever get it back?

I do not usually like this kind of thing, but this hooked me from the first! Pity about the end. If I came back to earth in a thousand years time, I think these two would still be as adored as they are now.

@kevinastraw Well, the song ends abruptly because it was changed by YouTube. My initial soundtrack contained songs of Fred Astaire.

@MonikIlie Do you mean it was deliberately changed by YouTube, or did their software change it automatically?

@kevinastraw No. The clip remained without sound and I had to choose among their songs the best that fitted - even if, as you could see, I didn't have much choice...
