flo and eddie wanted to get out of the one-sided record company contract they signed while they were with the Turtles, so they parked for awhile with Frank; however, Frank didn't pay alot and was stingy w/ royalties, so Flo and Eddie eventually left to pursue a gig as radio dee-jays

Wasn't Howard Kaylan (Eddie) a relative of Frank's business manager, Herb Cohen?

Wow.....but what brought them together?? The Turtles put out some good music in their day, so why would they have hooked up with Zappa?
