great final scene. the father's line of "Son, you're a politician" and Redford's reaction says it all.

Love this scene because I've seen this reaction from first time candidates. The look on Robert Redford's face says it all, the weariness from working so much on the campaign, the shock of winning as well as some joy, but also the fear of, "Oh shit, this is real!"

Obama actually said something like this.
After all the Ignagural Hoop-La of the '08 election,
after all the balls and par-tays,when he finally got back
to the white house, the new POTUS was known
to have said "NOW,WHERE DO I GO???"

Start the American Spring, Take this country back from the moochers and Welfare thugs,, We have outright voter intimidation, a justice dept that will not do anything, America is broken and a armed revolution is the only thing that will fix it now. Grab your guns.I've got mine.

Try living in a country where democracy is just a word. What you described is still so much better.

Maybe so but I still wish he had gone into politics and done things his way.
