Like it or not, the Bay influenced SoCal more than what most folks think. There were even crews calling themselves strutters down south. Samoan cats from the bay called Blue City Strutters(Boo Yaa Tribe) brought that Bay style to LA. I'm pretty sure there were African American, Latin, Asian, and White strutter/poppers who moved from here to LA as well spreading knowledge.

Those are two different DECADES! 3 years is a HUGE gap in time when it comes to this dance culture. Furthermore, in the clip that you posted, you DIDN'T EVEN TUT! So where is the proof? We have posted our footage from 1982 which clearly shows advanced tutting, waving, and ticking. All I am asking for is the proof to back up the claims that YOU presented. No disrespect just truth. I'm still waiting for a video or some footage prior to 1980 of you actually TUTTING...I didn't see any tuts in your clips and by the way that one old school clip that you did put up is from at least 1982, even though you claimed it was from 1979. The Dazz Band song Let It Whip didn't come out until 1982. We'll all wait for you to clarify. Thanks.
