Angel Child is fully supported by Rhys Jones parents, Steven and Melanie Jones.
The song came about because Mike Bradleys (one of the writers) son played football in the same team as Rhys and he had watched Rhys play all that season, it was his way of dealing with Rhys terrible and shocking death. He wanted to do something. He asked Tony, Dave & Jules to help and the result was Angel Child (Song for Rhys) a sweet and poignant song.
All proceeds from the single sales will go to the charity which is aiming to build a Community centre in Rhys name as well providing funding for various sporting events and projects nationwide that will benefit children from all over the UK. We hope this will encourage children to get involved in sport rather than gang culture.
"Join a team not a gang" is the motto for the song
The song has been released nationally and has already reached number 10 in UK independent singles charts.
