Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop - Odd Jobs, S Ranks (Missions 7-11) [2/6]

Here is the next set of Odd Jobs missions. If you're unfamiliar with Odd Jobs, they are a set of missions with various objectives. This mode is unlocked upon completion of the main story mode. Strategies for each mission will be noted below.

Mission 7 - Undying Horror:
In this mission, your objective is simply to survive. However, all of the zombies here are invincible. My suggestion is to run around the room, and lead some zombies into your corner. If they get too close, attack them, then keep running around. The chainsaw is really helpful here, but make sure you're clear to actually start it up, as you'll probably be attacked as you're doing so. Don't worry about your health, you can still get an S rank if you have low health. Here, the health I had left was so low that one hit would've killed me.

Mission 8 - Zombie Meter Maid:
There are several survivors that you'll have to protect from a wave of Jo zombies. This one is not hard at all. When you start the mission, quickly get near the Jo zombie; she's going to attack the closest survivor. Aim for her head, and keep shooting. When she drops to one knee, smack her with the baseball bat. Repeat the process for each Jo zombie, and make sure to protect the survivors.

Mission 9 - Animal Kingdom:
I thought this one was a fun mission. Here, your only enemies are the zombified poodles and parrots, and there are eight of each. The first thing you should do is take out the poodles. They like to attack in groups, which is perfect for throwing Molotov cocktails. You should take out most of them with one cocktail, but you can take out the remaining ones with your knife. Just watch out for their attacks. The parrots like to hang out above the benches; pick them all off with your handgun. They'll sometimes fly from one side of the benches to the opposite, so take them out while they're in the air; just watch out for grenades.

Mission 10 - Meat Processing Area:
In this mission, you have to fight three Jo zombies as well as Larry Chiang (the butcher). At the beginning, one of the Jo zombies and Larry will be in front of you. Run towards Jo, and shoot her AND the butcher with the shotgun; they're close enough to each other to the point where you can shoot them simultaneously. The first Jo should be dead. Now, the other two Jo zombies should be heading in your direction. Lead them to a corner, and shoot them both; again, they should be close enough to where shots should hit them both. That leaves Larry to beat. You can shoot him with your shotgun, slash him with the butcher knife, or a combination of both.

Mission 11 - Faster than a Speeding Zombie:
In this mission, you'll have to kill 35 zombies. But, there's a catch: the zombies are insanely fast. Your only weapons are the lead pipe Frank is carrying and cooking oil. When you start out, you should quickly throw some cooking oil in front of you; the zombies that attack will trip and die. If any get close to you, smack them with the pipe. Once you take out the initial group, move to the right in the mall. Throw some oil at the idle zombies, so when they try to run towards you, they'll fall and die instead.

I ended up taking a lot of damage here, so this was a pretty imperfect run. However, I still got the S rank, and it was on my first try as well.
