  • At the time I lived about a mile away from the cherry creek state park where the pope spoke to the masses, man there must have been half a million people there that day! As for mile high stadium it was something that I never saw before in Denver, thousands of people coming together and loving one another!

  • I was there!

    The best W.Y.D. ever!

I was there with my dad....I will never forget It.

  • AWESOME...

  • we love you..... you were a true and great leader!!!!!

  • Me hicieron recordar, yo estuve tambien en esa jornada mundial de la juventud. De la delegacion de Cd. Juarez y El Paso, recuerdo cuando acampamos en el parque Cherry Creek. Nunca olvidare a Juan Pablo II. Lo extraño. Dios los Bendiga.

  • I love pope john Paul (now blessed john paul)! If anyone knows where to find the song Jesus You are my light in english please tell me.

  • To reiterate something I posted 2 years back, I have varied coverage of this great event in US history that I taped on VHS of the EWTN live broadcast. My continuing dilemma is how to transfer it from VHS to utube. Any advice?

  • John Paul 2, we love you!

  • If some have more videos of this event please please upload them! :) thank you

  • I remember those 2 days very well. I and another cohort spray-painted blasphemous messages on the walls of the Cherry Creek parkway. The organizers had to delay the walk by the little lambs to Cherry Creek Park in order to paint and cover-up our vandalism. The pilgrimage to Cherry Creek was the Catholic Church's version of the Bataan Death March. The next day, at least 14,000 youths had to be treated at Denver area hospitals for heat exhaustion. Oh, my.
