Dangerous Toyota : Former Toyota Lawyer, "Toyota always Hides Safety Problems"

In an exclusive interview with ABC News, a former top lawyer for Toyota claims the automaker regularly hid evidence of safety defects from consumers and regulators, and fostered a culture of "hypocrisy and deceit."

"You have to understand that Toyota in Japan does not have any respect for our legal system," said Dimitrios Biller, who worked as managing counsel for Toyota's American operations from 2003 to 2007. "They did not have any respect for our laws."

Biller handled product liability suits while with the company. He claims that when Toyota received poor results in a vehicle rollover test, it ordered a new test in order to receive better results. According to Biller, the company also made a practice of concealing proof of safety problems, and did not disclose information it was obligated to produce

According to CBS News, an ex-lawyer for Toyota of North America has filed a racketeering suit against his former employer. ToMoCos former managing counsel Dimitrios P. Biller accused the automaker of illegally withholding evidence in hundreds of rollover death and injury cases, in a ruthless conspiracy to suborn evidence of its vehicles structural shortcomings.

Back in 2004, oil experts, veteran mechanics, and Toyota owners were discussing the premature break down of the engine oil in Toyotas on two major Toyota complaint sites (one site had over 10,000 postings). Then, one of the sites was HACKED and went down. The other site went down at roughly the same time, too! Interesting!!

toyota has been hiding problems from the public since 1988 or earlier.this same guy probably defended them against the epa and the ntsb back in the day before his consious got to him.
