Part 1 of Homage, a 30 minute ballet for dancers of all ages (mostly young), Choreography is by Cecily Travsky Winslow Bressel, the Artistic Director of the Arizona Ballet Theatre Company. The piece is choreographed on and performed by students of all ages at its School in Tucson. From Pre-Ballet on up to UA Dance Department Alumni, and some Dancing Ballet-Moms who are also students.
The Ballet was performed at The Stevie Eller Dance Theatre on the campus of the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona on the evening of May 30 and at a matinee on May 31, 2009. For more information about Arizona Ballet Theatre, view its website. It is a fun and interesting dancer's resource.
