Paul McCartney performing "Let It Be" at Live Aid, 13 July 1985, Wembley Stadium, London. Original version where the microphone doesn't work for the first two minutes. Thank God everybody in the audience knows the words.
McCartney rerecorded his vocals 20 years later for the DVD release of the Live Aid concert.
Followed by "Do They Know It's Christmas?" by Band Aid, the Wembley finale.

its very weird seeing paul there, like he in terms of inpact to music, was the greatest single artist there that day. i think elton, queen, the who and bowie also come quite close. but paul is just that much more legendary. however queens performance is untouchable. beyond amaizing

@kahuna3901 It was also the first time McCartney performed on stage in over 5 years, as he had stopped touring after he was arrested in Japan in january 1980 and the tour was cancelled. Him being at Live Aid was BIG!. I had only discovered the Beatles in 1979 when I was 12, so this was really the first time I got to see him live (albeit on tv). I waited all day and then got all nervous, 'cause Paul was due to go on in London, but the tv kept showing Madonna, who was playing in Philadelphia. :D
