These four very-short films aim to increase understanding of Alzheimer's disease. We call them"pocket" films because of their brevity and portability; they are designed to be viewed anywhere at anytime: a doctor's office, a Congressional hallway, a family living room. Anywhere a person can ask questions about Alzheimer's disease, here are some answers.
These films were made by David Shenk in partnership with the Alliance for Aging Research. They were made possible by a grant through the Metlife foundation.
Don't forget the 200,000+ people in the United States alone, that have Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease...they are diagnosed under the age of 65. Alzheimer's IS NOT just a disease of the elderly.
