Update: PLEASE stop fighting over what version of the song it is. It ISN'T Rena, Shion OR Mion singing. It isn't even a character song. It's simple called "Dear You" and it's sung by Yuduki. I'm am tired of people posting comments and fighting over this. If I see one more comment like this, I will disable comments for good and block the person who said it. Sorry, but it's quite irritating. :/

Yandere is actually characterized by love to the point of violence.

It's not a fetish.

It's simply loving someone so much that you see anyone who gets to close to your love as a threat to them and if they attempt to leave you it you don't accept it and use violence in order to keep them close, even to the point of extreme physical harm. Think the lady from the movie misery. Yandere has actually been called the truest and deepest love for someone, love to the point of death.
