yeah funny they are a brilliant and very original COVER band, now kill me or face it.. but you never can say they are better than the original because without the original what they are?? a nostalgic vintage band?? you like it because of the original, without that we'd never known nothing about them, yeah I can enjoy that music, but just the first minute and then... another song please, sorry for my poor english, i'm from barcelona and the primary education here is not the best, but I try, byes!

I Actually kind of like this.... i mean the original can't be topped but this is one of the better covers i've heard... actually the best cover of Basket Case i've heard... but as i said Green Day's the best <3

@Misharu Hate to say it, but The Baseballs are better than most of the bands they cover. I'm totally neutral with Green Day's cover. They have talent. Rihanna, 50 Cent, Avril Lavigne are all victims of the Record Label monopolies who emphasize looks over talent. As a result, Im more apt to look for a cover or parody emphasizing skill. The Baseballs are an art that most pop artists today fail to achieve. Billy Joel, Ray Charles, Elton John would not make it in today's music market.
