@gmccord1970 The Twist IS a good plane. I have the exact same plane myself. The wing is held on by 2 dowel rods and a fairly large nylon bolt (I replaced mine with a metal bolt). Part of the pre-flight check HAS to be making sure the wing bolt is secure, & the landing gear is securely bolted to the plane (something I forgot to do once). If you don't follow these simple precautions, SHTUFF can and will happen.

I don't like flying other people's planes and I don't like other people flying my planes. It's just not the same feeling. I stopped doing it because I would get nervous flying another man's plane because if something did go wrong I know it would make me feel really bad. There was this guy at my club that test flew other planes and he would push them so hard in the air. One time the wings folded because he put it into such a hard dive at high speed. Then he's like "sorry"

@MikeMcChiken I always thought Hanger 9 made good planes. I think they're a little pricey but well built. I was thinking of getting a Twist but maybe not now after reading these comments.

Yes you ae right , BUT this wasnt his plane ! He was test flying it for someone else, so you can kind of understand how it felt for him .. If I crashed someone elses plane I would be more pissed then if it was my own.

HAHA I love watching this video again ! The twist was originally given to me by the guy flying it, so he thought he would give it a test flight be for handing over the controls to me.. , so the twist had already been through a hard landing before this crash..
