@lazur1 Thank you for your comment to one that I made a few months ago about Jim Weider and Robbie Robertson. I like your point of view very much. There is a lot of credence to what you say. Perhaps I live too much in the past. Being from the city of Toronto, in the old days when Robbie Robertson was with the Hawks noone could touch him in that town. I'm embarrassed to admit that I only first began listening to Jim Weider several years ago. I am now in a better position to appreciate your point.
@Teachering From where I sit, strictly re guitar-playing ability, it's more of compliment to RR, (a great songwriter), to have been in the same band as JW.
Jim Weider is such a fine guitarist! Such a fine Tele player, also. Taking over from Robbie Robertson of The Band gives some indication of his credentials; at least from my perspective.
