@66ott7 Back in the day, those Newports were smoother if you will. Still milled of course, but a smoother milling. My Laguna 2.5 was probably made more recently and features a little rougher milling you can see in the video. The new Californias have the deepest milling ever offered in a Scotty retail line.

RC - Does the face on your Laguna have the milled swirls or is it smooth "flat"? I jus picked up a newport oil can on ebay and i was surprised to see the face was smooth and had no milling.

@66ott7 It's a huge loss for the studio and our players, but then again, he's working for Titleist! In Titleist Heaven! Pretty, pretty, pretty good.

Can't believe Spence is leaving. Now what the hell am I gonna do for golf entertainment? RC, you better stick around and make more videos. If u need a partner, ill come out there and do it for free. You guys got the best jobs. So lucky!

Dip those oil can wedges in some coca cola Ryan!

@ryancrysler Ryan - Iv been hitting c-c Wedges since the US Open Qualifier and oddly my scoring average and handicap have gone down a little. Personally, I miss the spin but Im getting up and down more. Jus a little something for all the followers out there. I think it goes back to when I was a kid tho. Iv always considered myself a bump and runner. That how I learned to play golf.
-
@ryancrysler Good for you. Im the same age as you roughly and im giving it a go myself for golf. I think Im too inconsistent for big time golf tho. Wish we had better opportunities to make money on the smaller tours.

@66ott7 I had an academic scholarship and at the time. Needed a full time approach to school to prepare for the FBI. After a year or so working for the California Medicaid Program, I decided to give golf one more chance while I was young...and here I am!

@ryancrysler Why so brief? Why not the whole ride?
-
@66ott7 Yes I did for a brief time!
whats the difference in terms of feel between a GSS putter and a stock putter?

@zxzxDanBoyzxzx GSS has a softer sound and feel. It's definitely different than stock American steel.

hello ryan i just have a quick question about shaft flex i have a swing speed of 90-95 mph with my 6 iron and i was wondering what flex should i get in the project x and what flex in the dynamic gold shafts? hope you can help me thanks ps: i dont know what my swingspeed is with any other club
xXxTupac4everxXx 1 year ago
@xXxTupac4everxXx Long story short on flex, but with those speeds, I'd be looking at an s400 or x100 for irons. I switch to KBS for players that need more than the Project X 5.0, so probably...Tour X in KBS. But without seeing you in person...it could be anything! RC

Hey Rc, i found a brand new 905S with a graffloy blue (s). you think i should get it. i dont have a driver right now cause i snapped my 907D2 with a proforce v2 76g (s)?
RoryMcilroyFan18 1 year ago
@RoryMcilroyFan18 Well...maybe the 905S can work. It's similar in concept to the 909D3 and the Blue will play much stiffer. Pull the trigger!
