  • I found this to be quite educational for someone like myself that is going to buy a 5th wheel. Thanks!

  • My motorhome has a huge tank under the back bed.. I assume that is the fresh water tank, but so far I have not found the black tank and the waster shower water tank.. hmm.. but I am starting to understand this now.. at first I thought that skinny pipe drained the fresh water tank.. is there a way to drain that too?

  • I'm gonna seem like a pro on our first camping trip, while my husband is clueless... thank you!

  • thank you for recording this, we bought a used trailer and didn't get any info on how to do these things.

  • Great idea to film...helped me recall "how to" with my new trailer. Thanks.

  • @TheSunmanho The only person who is shamed here is you.

That's clearly obvious as evidenced by your deletion of your own post.

Do not ever use the "n-word" again.

  • @ross102591

shame on you! please respect the First Amendment: freedom of speech!

  • @TheSunmanho Speaking of showing.......you've shown you're a racist.

I've filed a complaint with YouTube security for your racist and offensive post.

    Choose your next words carefully.

  • As a fairly seasoned RV'er, I can tell you he did a nice job with his tutorial vid here.

The only thing I might add would be to use a toilet wand once the black tank has been completely drained. This is where it's really nice to have a clear elbow joint so that you can see when the tank's REALLY clean as the you drain the black tank again.

If there's nobody behind me at the dump station, I'll do this several times with the wand....fill, drain, fill, drain until completely clean.

    Cheers.

  • This is right, but you should ALWAYS put chemicals in your toilet, if not it will clog up the lines, the chemicals break down the stuff in your tank, but also do not flush regular toilet tissue in your tank, it will not break down, but you can buy som RV toilet tissue for the tank, but it is like $5 for four rolls. So don't put normal toilet tissue in the tank. You have to put chemicals in your tank, because it will break down stuff in it, so it will not clog the lines.
