  • I had no idea this actor did a voice in Rudolf the red nosed R.....

thanks so much for that interesting bit of info.

  • ..I remember this one..it's like being in the twilight zone when I watch it...

  • and while were at it, Henry Ramer tags the spot with a VO...

Larry was one of the canadian voice actors who did well in the US because were were cheaper up here. the 60s "spiderman" cartoon has a all canadian voice cast for the same reason, and includes some of the same talent as in the rankin bass productions..inclusing paul soles.

  • The other actor is Richard MacMillan, who played Pooh-Bah in the 1980s Stratford Festival production of "The Mikado". The show was a huge hit in Canada, the USA and at the then-newly restored Old Vic Theatre in London, England. He was especially chilling as Bick in the original Toronto production of Sondheim's "Assassins".

  • The boss in this commercial is Larry Mann (who voiced Yukon Cornelius in "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer). He also did voices in other Rankin Bass productions, notably Foxy Q. Fiddle in the "The New Adventures of Pinocchio" and Rusty in "Tales from the Wizard of Oz".
