@WesleyWNYC24 Being a certified Seth professor I'd like to note Seth's DP is better than Akuma's for 4 reasons.

1. Seth can option select his DP resulting in either getting full hits or FADC. Akuma always FADC-s regardless of block or hit.

2. Seth's DP has more startup invincibility.

3. Seth reaches farther as you noted.

4. There is no chance for Seth's DP to leave the opponent on the ground. A hit always makes the opponent fly up.

Only Seth's EX DP does more damage than Akuma's for all 7 hits.

@TheDonaldduck911 I play Seth have seen Seth's normal DP beat Ken's ultra 1 as well as his EX DP. I don't even have to use Seth's EX DP if I happen to get the timing right.

@TheDonaldduck911 A DP that starts faster than another DP does not mean that it is better. Seth's DP starts slower than Ryu's but it has 7 invincibility frames while Ryu's has only 3. So if both DPs start at the same frame, Ryu's invincibility ends before Seth's and therefore Seth's shoryu beats Ryu's. Also Seth's EX DP is better than Ryu's EX because it has more active frames. I have seen it several times, both Ryu and Seth EX DP at the same time and Seth beats it. It does not even trade.

seth`s shoryu is 2 hits on block and 1 on hit that makes it the best shoryu by far cuz u can option select it to be safe every time and also to not spend meter when u do hit it, and it has a ton of invin frames at the start up , like this so ppl can stop asking about seths shoryu

@WesleyWNYC24 ?? i said that pretty much every dragon punch (or anti-air special attack) is very PUNISHABLE on block. I never said anything about DPs beating other DPs. And no, seth's dragon punch doesn't beat neither Ryu's or Ken's dp. Every single one of Seth's dps start in 5 frames, every Ryu's dp start in 3 frames, Ken's L and H dragon punch start in 3 frames too. Hell, even Dan's dps come out faster than Seth's (4 frames). So yeah...you're wrong
