My 1986 Jeep Comanche Custom will have the Fuel Injected 2.5 AMC four and an Aisin AX5 5 Speed manual transmission that I personally rebuilt. It also has a power steering system that came out good after a brief test. The interior will be redone in black with few optional items such as the AMC w/DNR tape deck, wing window that open, door panels with speaker cover face and tilt steering wheel. Once completed, I will have the video posted. Please take my inviations for you to check it out.

Hey man, I posted a video of me starting the Wagoneer. I'm not sure what you might be able to learn from it, but I'd appreciate any advice.
Thanks!

I've been messing with the lean/rich screws, choke plate and idle without much success.
My biggest victory came when I bent the float so that the carb would stop filling with gas at idle. (it was previously flooding itself and dying)
Anyhow, I'll let you know if/when I post a vid of it starting.
Thanks!
You've got a lot of Jeeps and seem to know your stuff. If I made a video of the problems my wagoneer is having, do you think you could give me some advice? It's an 84 Grand Wagoneer (5.9 AMC 360) and it's starting hard, idling high/low, doesn't like the cold, etc. I've tried a bunch of stuff, but I feel like a more experienced mechanic might easily see a problem I could be missing.

Yeah, I could try. It sounds to me that you need to clean and adjust the carburetor.

of course GM used throttle body as well.

Yes, this 2.5L is the AMC 150. AMC also used the GM (Pontiac I believe) 2.5L which was a 151, like the one in my DJ-5L, where the DJ-5M has a carbureted AMC 150.
