Frontal Impact takes place at 64 Km/h, 40% of the width of the car striking a deformable barrier. In the side impact, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door at 50 km/h. In the pole test, the car tested is propelled sideways at 29km/h into a rigid pole.

  • Impressive. The front doors hardly ripple in the head on test & you can tell the doors will open. Makes me feel a bit better about facing the M25.

  • Three Mazda 6 were destroyed just to make this 1:44 minute video. Pretty expensive.

  • The head restraints are horrible on the Madzd6 though.

    It's a shame because Volvo and Saab have had active head restraints for like 15 years now.

  • @derbigpr500 yea but acutally if ur in a 60 mph crash its a whole different story. i doubt any car can protect us very well at a 60 mph crash, but renault is working on the design of nissan, so i think part of the safety features will be added.
