What yoiu may need to realize is that many african people migrated into what we now call India, many of the movers, the drums, the religious gods and the foods are similar. Even yoga that practiced today has many of it's origins in Africa, Kemet even (Mali)with some the postures are found throughout Africa only named diffrently. Listen yes, you hear the connection because the spirit teaches us. Western culture caused the disconnection however, in time nature will always prevail.

That was a very nice thing to say curiousquestions I like to study and learn about difffernt cultures of people.
I noticed the similarities in wedding customs of Asia and Africa a vocalization that is made with the tongue lalalalalalal repeated several times.
Drumming and dancing beautiful bright colors older and immediate family sitting at a table etc.....

This is what happens when people play djembes in Africa.
When people play djembes outside of Africa, you get a bunch of stupid hippies in a drum circle with crude rhythms and some fat white girls who try to belly dance and fail horribly in the process.

Europe didnt adjust borders she made them. You see history like any story is two sided, but unfortunately it is told to all of us from one side...maybe its time we all heard the other side of the story. you're talking about what Europe did from Europe's point of view..who admits that theyre wrong? theres more than just what can be seen that affects us. I wonder, why Ethiopia and Haiti are poor?
Thank you for this lovely video. I am from India. The drum played here sounds like "the mollum" of South India, played often at weddings. It is so festive, fun and joyful, even admist poverty and difficulty people can keep their spirit and dignity through music. My best wishes to Mali. I hope your musicians will travel to Tamil Nadu in India to play with the mollum experts.

slavery has existed probably from as long as time time began on all continents,so no one is denying that. Im sure you know that Europeans practiced slavery as well, so its nothing directly against the institution of slavery, however nobody was as destructive to humanity as the European. I'm not talking about the effects of colonization on Africa alone....i'm not a racist or any stupidness everyone likes to throw out there...just stating that there is a burden for the white man
