0:23 is just priceless rolling around in it

Man, what a mess she made!
-
I know why she's bathing in it! She's preparing for the arrival of her New Man with a little beauty bath. But... who's that lurking in the background? The conniving Hyzzie! No doubt taking notes on the seduction of handsome young Tamandua males. Oh, Hyzzie, you heartless vixen!

Pua you silly girl!

It's well known that.....I LOVE Pua!!! I need to go scratch a little now.

How cute!!!

Lol I like how the dog kept looking like "what the hell is she doing?" and then nosing around before looking again lol
-
Aww, shes so cute. :D

Very cute but watching this makes my back itch like crazy.

maybe you're right - maybe the biting of the ants does something to their skin, or maybe it puts acid into their bloodstream. (the way she's scratching, she seems to be getting it into her skin.) Maybe you should pour some on her once in a while (in the bath tub, of course :-) ).
I love the little dog watching in the background!! He's not sure what's going on. :-)

There is a behavior in some bird species called anting. They lay in a ant nest and let them bite them or pick ants up and rub them in their feathers. They don't really know why but one guess is the acid helps control pests like mites. In captivity they will use wine or vinegar sometimes.
She was definitely combing and rubbing it in. Pua's never done this with her vinegar before.

vinegar? what does it do to them?

They don't have stomach acid as in the wild ants and termites have acid in them. So normally she drinks it with her food. I don't know why she decided to bath in it.
