In the studio, you can add layers to vocals to make them sound more "full". It's a common technique. Myles does this on the higher notes. He also has infinity chances to sing it right int he studio. It doesn't make him a bad vocalist. But it's not going to sound the same live. Quit criticizing it and take it for what it is, because it is truly amazing.

@johnstoner666 I totally agree. My theory is that live the vocals have to be on pitch and the guitars should be in the same key as the album cut of the song

@darnman15 Axl's technique was terrible, he resonated mostly in his nose and that's what lead him to that tone, where as myles tehcnique is astonishing.

@SVSwamie saw them at Newcastle UK last weekend and Myles vocals were spot on NO WAY does he sound like Rose. I think you have to take into account they were outdoors and accoustics always sound different plus the weather affects your voice too.
Still the best band on the planet right now by a long long way
