18 psi on a stock MK4 plastic intake doesn't last very long. I was on my way to Philly when I heard a loud pop, and loss of power. I popped the hood, and saw a huge hole, but had to act fast to get home. I took some cardboard out of my truck and the roll of duct tape, and made it happen

  • LOOOOL!

Although, Red probably wouln't have a Turbo VR6 hahaha. Great show!

  • yea 18 psi will do it for the plastic intake manifolds....need to get the SRI made out of aluminum so it can hold that ammount of boost

  • The owner eventually made his own sheet metal manifold for the car, before eventually selling it. Car made 400whp/400 ft lbs with the manifold too....total rocket of a little car!
