My dad's stock 1979 Porsche 928 in an auto cross competition. 4.5 V8. It was the oldest car in the competition.

  • lol at people buying this for their first car, you will barely be driving it as it'll be in the workshop most of the time :P

  • @pcoetzee Haven't had any major problems with this car. It has over 160,xxx on the odometer and its still running strong.

  • @dreamtheater142 Wow that's amazing, I keep hearing stories about what a dreadful car it is and how often it breaks from my friends. You must keep it really well maintained then! I'm still deciding on whether to buy one just to have a play around, would you recommend to do so?

  • @pcoetzee Yes I would. This car hasn't had any real problems, and it is in a lot of stop and go traffic, and it is still good. It's real fast too, no one can keep up with it that i've seen yet ;p. good play car. Just beware of the gas mileage!

  • @orlandoboi258 Fuck im about to buy one for my first car!

  • State of the art, beautiful car............

  • I just bought one of these!!! my first car im so excited!

  • Funny someone mentioned the AMC Pacer comment. My boss use to have a 1979 928 as well and he compared it to the Pacer too (that was a few years ago) but only because, like the Pacer, had a lot of glass and a bubblish kind of shape. The 928 was a love it or hate it kind of design. Awsome car though! Expensive to run and maintain. My boss sold his a couple of years ago. I should have bought it as it was going for a good price.
