Via Mike Riggs at Reason.com: "23-year-old Daniel Chong sat down with NBC San Diego to recount the five days he spent handcuffed in a DEA holding cell without food or water after he was arrested at a "4/20 party." During that period, Chong, a student at UC San Diego, was forced to drink his own urine because his cries for help, for water, and for food went ignored, or perhaps unheard, by DEA agents. By the third day, Chong said he was hallucinating. The American Medical Association has urged the DEA to reschedule cannabis to be lower than schedule 1, like meth, but the DEA has refused--even cocaine is schedule 2. Schedule 1 means no medicinal value. This organization continues to ignore science though legislation, misinformation, and strong-arming their agenda. People lose custody of their children, their houses, jobs, etc. for cannabis, which is far safer than alcohol.

Tobacco is still legal lmao, what's your argument? Tobacco companies spent millions trying to hide the truth, gangsters who actually make big money off of marijuana *don't want it to be legal*; opposite situation. We've been watching marijuana use as long as tobacco, the same scientific methods that taught us about the effects of tobacco have been used on marijuana- if nothing else it doesn't do nearly as much damage and isn't addictive, unlike tobacco which is heavily addictive.

Damn, honestly I think I'd want to be locked up for 5 days so I could sue the DEA, and become a millionaire so I wouldn't have to worry about money again.. It would really suck, but if I survived I would have a carefree life and so would my family.. not bad for 5 days mental torture!
