@scholion Where is your proof that Ataturk fought Islam? He changed the dress code and Turkish Alphabet due to literacy reasons as Arabic was and is still a hard language to learn. His goals were to create a modern Turkey which has a "higher" literacy rate than the Ottoman eira.
