THE DATE: May 14th, 1999.
THE MISSION: Advance to the second round for the first time in the Sacramento era - and the first time since 1981 in the franchise's history.
THE OPPOSITION: A weakened Utah Jazz team that had gone through a ridiculous schedule to close the regular season at 5-5 in the season's final 15 days; John Stockton was banged up and the Jazz were against the ropes, down 2-1.
All Sacramento had to do was win on their home-court and they were through to the next round - off to play Portland. But as we all know, there was a wily vet with some big shots still up his sleeve in Utah's backcourt. Watch as this game goes through 5 lead changes in the final 31 seconds (and 30 lead changes in all) before a racuous Arco Arena crowd.
Of course you were. Utah was LA's bane in the nineties.

I'll never forget this game. I remember thinking Arco Arena and the Kings fans were excruciatingly loud. I loved every minute of it and have been a Kings fan ever since.
