He had me from Hello (: lol this is one my favorite Idol performances EVER and David is easily my favorite guy to win it (: I love him so much, he was so good on Idol and he's only gotten better.

The key to this song was how he ended it! Note the guitar stroke and the key change. And he changed the line. This is pure artistry!

@Arimaarima71 Yes, this was the turning point for Cook! His key performance of that year. He zoomed to the front like Secretariat in the back of the pack while doing this. And held the lead till the end.
