Ive always used a shredder with a chain in the front with a bracket to keep the front of the shredder up so the hydraulic arms of the tractor are not engaged when the shredder is...i guess different shredder manufac. so siferent things.

So what is the difference between the 2n, the 8n and the 9n? All I remember about the one my grandfather had is it was a flat head, 4 cylinder, had a generator not a alternator, distributor in the front, and that it was gray like many of them are.

i love old farm tractors

used to have an old 1952 ferguson on our farm, father sold it last year and bought a new belarus

he used to have an old 8n but times changed and he needed a bigger tractor and the 8n was in bad shape when he bought it

so the ferguson lasted a long time, still in good shape but it was sold for about $4500
