English translation:
I can still see hilly Pavlovsk,
The surrounding meadow, the motionless water,
Most languorous, most blessed with shade,
Most unforgettable place.

As you drive through the cast-iron gates,
Your body trembles with bliss,
You are not living, but exulting and delirious,
Or living, but in a completely different way.

In late autumn, the fresh and biting breeze
Wanders, rejoicing in the deserted solitude.
White-rimed black fir trees
Stand in the half-melted snow.

And, full of delirious fever,
My lover's voice rings out like a song,
And on the copper shoulder of the Lyre Player
Sits a little scarlet-breasted bird.
