Supercooled water is poured onto two supercooled aluminum plates to simulate freezing rain.

The plate coated with superhydrophobic coating (left) repels the cold water, preventing ice collection on the surface. For the uncoated plate (right), the water freezes upon contact and ice accumulates.

    100% GREEN ... no VOC's ... They are testing on air planes, sidewalks and bridges
