great video, also cool design, seems to me that you are an expert expert
i hope you don't mind if i ask a couple of questions like, what is the temperature in the kiln when the enamel was fired? if the enamel is nothing more than powdered glass that melts together, why doesen't it get cracks after exiting the kiln? do you happen to know the chemical composition of FLUX?
PS: thanks for the tipp with the citric acid as pickle

Thanks! The enamel fires at 1400degrees F, but the kiln is set at 1500degrees F, because the temperature so quickly when the door is opened. The very thin layer of glass created and the counter enamel are expanding opposite directions so few cracks develop. Even small pieces can crack if there is any contaminant, thickness issues, enamel compatibility issues, etc.If it's done carefully though, no cracks! I do not know the composition of the flux, Thompson's 2020 Clear for Silver.
