As a part of its promotion of a Post-Secondary Access Agenda, CASA has launched a web video entitled The Education Challenge, aimed at encouraging students and the general public to strongly consider the issue of accessibility to post-secondary education when casting their ballot on October 14th, 2008.

  • Are you dissing welders? That's the kind of pompous attitude that people in the real world stereotypically expect from university graduates. I've had to work hard myself to downplay this stereotyped expectation of that I place myself on a podium just because I have a degree. You have a degree? So what, nobody cares.

  • What a bunch of crap, higher education seems great, but unless you plan on how to apply your degree, it's useless. I know of plenty of people who either can't apply their degree, or they waste several dozen more grand on a graduate degree. Our tax dollars are better spent.
