The North Carolina Zoological Park and the Wildlife Conservation Society are involved in a project to protect the Cross River Gorilla, one of the most endangered and secretive great apes in Africa. Tracking the animals through the forests of Nigeria and Cameroon can be difficult. But, when researchers actually encounter an animal in the forest, it is a rewarding experience--both personally and scientifically.
This is lovely. To see Kagwene again? O this is a great project, worth every support.
