Eritrean122, thanks for your concern but a country will never develop by aid but by good geovernance. Ethiopia is blessed with natrual resources, the Ethiopian Nile river feeds the people of Egypt and Sudan, Ethiopia also have other large rivers but Ethiopia lacks good government who cares for the population.

Plus this video was deliberately made by the BBC to make Mengistu Hailemariam look evil. Today meles zenawi starves 15-20 million people but is hardly seen on western media.

who do they have to blame now for this disaster? MELES CAN YOU ANSWER THIS NOW? AMHARAS? OROMOS? WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS?

It is nearly 25 years since Ethiopias (and Bob Geldofs) famous Feed The World campaign, and in that time Ethiopias population has grown from 33.5 million to 78 million today. So why on earth should I do anything to encourage further catastrophic demographic growth in that country? Where is the logic? There is none.

Before Tplf took power 1991. We used 2 blame Hilaselas & Derge, what about 2day where,4 million ppl, according 2 the UN are facing starvation & 120,000 Ethio children have just one month 2 live. According 2 the last week media report tel viewers were shoked 2 see the pictures all over the world. The fact show that after 17y on power Tplf has failed 2make the radical change, their country need. They spent 50m of dollars buying armies. Inestead of feeding their ppl whose dying of hunger & famine

The sad part of this video is that one realizes it COULD have been avoided. ethiopian leaders, ethiopian warlords, emperiors and jantas shoudld be held responsible for all the man created famine, wars and ethnic divisions that persist in ethiopia.
