Motorcycle Respect in 3.2.1! Just to be honest I've hated Ducati for so long for being so damn vicious on the track! But I will have to say they are amazing motorcycles! They have amazing style, and performance, and theres not a big diffrence in power from inline fours, only at top speeds! I recently road a 1098, and was blown away by the feel of that bike! There confession over! Lesson is never dis a bike until you've riden one! Peace out!
People have never really used exotic bikes for road racing due to the sheer cost if you have an accident. The only people I can think of that have used exotic bikes are Michael Rutter and Martin Finnegan. Rutter used a 1098R and Finnegan used an MV Agusta for a whole season. The comment about the busa is just stupid though, a 1300cc bike is far too heavy for these small tracks. There would be no advantage using one.
lol the ignorance of the internet is awesome. how one stumbles across such great roadracing and has such a question is beyond me. this isn't some gay ruff rider vid or gangsta vid, these are real badasses, on the sickest production bikes.
Hayabusa? You dont just need an expensive and high powered bike in order to ride. These guys actually have skill. Stick to riding short circuits. Im sure the Ducati'll do a grand job fast and straight. Or more likely just looking nice and glossy on the poster on your wall.
@MilesB1975 perfect analogy lol

Anyone who has actually RIDDEN a Hayabusa wouldn't ask that question.
Like using a Boeing 747 in the Red-Bull Air Races.
