Here's more of Pearl White - recorded in 1964 at the home of Roger Mumbrue who, at the time, had a pipe organ in his parents' basement in a Detroit suburb. Pearl had just sat down to the console for the first time and was familiarizing herself with the theatre pipe organ console, playing a lovely "Ich Liebe Dich" by Edvard Grieg -- when Roger said: "Pearl, play the piano." She searched briefly for the piano stops on the organ, then suddenly, as if someone had thrown a knife-switch, Pearl and the party came to life... Chicago's original Jazz Baby!
Dennis, I'm glad you uploaded this. Im surprised I never looked for Pearl white on youtube till now. What was I thinking? It was wonderful.
