@hk21b Thank you haha i forgot about this!!

Gotta say that the Scottish voice-over - good as it is - being a well-reputed actor, does not quite capture the spirit of Rochdale nor emphasise the Yorkshire grit that has kept the Co-op in being as a leading motor car retailer and says little or nowt' of the character of those hard working people that were determined to carry the essence of the Co-op movement and help form the Labour Party... now it's just a sponsor of the tv weather forecast and a few TV promo clips. of what is now just Food!

I began my working career as a shop assistant at the local Co-op in 1964 and returned after being made redundant as a manger - having been sponsored for UNi by the Co-op Excec Officer - to find that an amagamation had put paid to my Job so became a driver part-time while still working in another branch; left there thru illness but remembered my training right through to becoming the director of a company I left in the 80's and carried on as a Business Management Consultant into the late 90's.

Co-op food prices are bloomin' expensive and I wish they'd get someone different to do the voice overs!
