Silly Cylons. Don't they know that having their buses accelerate intra-atmospherically radically increases the delta-v budget requirements, and that targeting what appears to be 50+ warheads on a single metropolitan area simultaneously essentially ensures massive losses due to fratricide?
@davethecritter Yep.... by the time they did The Plan, they were pretty much out of development money for CGI and stuff. You'll also notice that at 0:13 to 0:15, the landmass they're shooting towards is Europe, stretched, mirrored and rotated 180 degrees.
@Halo4Lyf While surviing a habitat scorched by nuclear attacks is one thing, would you survive the mental strain? The psycological battle of maintaining your humanity? Or more importantly, your hope.
As my instructor told me, "it doesn't matter how much you train or prepare someone for the worst situations imaginable, its only when it happens do we found out if you're ready for it."
Its like trying to train a fireman without the fire, no matter amount of tactics can prepare him for the fire.
@LiamRiordan Debates about my sanity aside, I don't fear nuclear weapons because I understand them. Knowledge goes a long way towards driving out fear. I know how to survive a nuclear detonation because of my CBRN defense training, both in the short and long term.
The thing that will surprise people most about a nuclear event is that they survived it!
@Halo4Lyf Fear of something that can murder millions and potentially poison billions in a blink of an eye. When you see many of them raining down. If you don't fear that... well, you're crazy.
