Close call 50-cal

This is pretty incredible. The guy is shooting a Browning .50 ... Watch the dust when he fires.

The target, a steel plate, was 100 yards away. You can hear the ping of the bullet hit and then the bullet comes back -- watch for the dust on the ground on his left -- then it hits his earmuffs on his head!

You can hear the bullet as it tumbles through the air on its course back toward the shooter, so make sure your sound is up.

Why do we hear the ping of the bullet hitting the plate at the instant it hits. At 1000 yd the sound should have taken approx. 3 seconds to return or roughly 2 seconds AFTER the bullet returned.

were the rounds FMJs? they have a tendancy to ricochet. A softer round would of been safer, although ive fired 1000's of rounds down range and never had anything like that happen before. close call.

its not a browning, its some knid of sniper rifle. a browning is fixed on a mount, not availible in rifle form, used nly by military
