The dedication ceremony of the new Interfaith Prayer Space on the campus of Xavier University on February 18th, 2009. The space is located in Husman Hall, and can be entered from the courtyard on the side facing the Cintas Center. Xavier Interfaith Club members played a key role in the long process of finding and creating the space, even proposing the layout with the new entry and pushing for a running water source. Coincidentally, the same year our work to make a neutral prayer space came to fruition, Rabbi Ingber joined the university leading Interfaith Community Engagement.

Speakers:
Joe Shadle, Director of Campus Ministry - Welcome and Introduction

Brad Seligmann, President of the Interfaith Club - A Day Long Awaited: Planning since 2006!

Rabbi Abie Ingber, Director of the new Office of Interfaith Community Engagement - The Importance of Diversity at Xavier

Reflections:
Jessica Finkel - Judaism

Daoud Sy - Islam

Ashwin Ganesh - Hinduism

Myisha Phillips - Christianity

Closing Remarks:
Craig Scanlon, President of the Student Government Association - Involvement of the SGA

Dr. Luther Smith, Dean of Students - Student Life & Leadership
