@beekwine just cause they spend thousands on a horse doesnt mean their so called horse lovers. it means that they really want their horse to be the best it can be so they go out and spend the money to achieve that, now what if that thousand went to a surgery to help save a horse, is that a "so called horse lover"? yes i agree its sad that horses went to slaughter, and i want to be able to go out and but them from the auctions and give them a second chance, but yet, that would costs thousands...

wow someone really disliked this? Someone clearly has never experienced the loyalty and bond of such a versatile horse as the stb!

@beekwine ''So called horse lovers'' ? I'm all for rescuing horses, but not everyone can control the ex racers, rescued green horses... Some spend thousands because they want a bombproof horse. >_< fail.

Nice Video glad rip has someone who loves him like you do
it's nice to see people prove animal activists wrong. They claim all horse racing people are evil and send them for meat after their racing days are over.Ya this horse is really going for meat.lol. you love your horse to much to give him up. my mare raced for 4-5 years and then we retired her and she's now a broodmare/riding horse. she's livingthe life!and if anything I savedher from her abusive trainer.he'snow dead.I was actually happy when I was told he died after hearing what he did to my mare

I think it is wonderful that you have found another use for him, so annoying hearing "so called horse lovers" spend thousands on a horse when there are thousands of perfectly good horses being slaughtered. Good work he's loveley. I don't own any Standardbreds but most of mine have been rescued, I would surely consider a Standardbred as horse next time I buy.
