found something that might help you, On the front of the vms u can assign the CF to any channel, this was the problem for me..

i got the same problem .the only way i make it work is i use the laptops souncard & it works perfect but im still piss cause the vms is suposse to work properly & wat is it with the cuing the headphones is supos to be auto can you tell how you fix yours do you mappit how?????

I got the same problem. The vms4 headphone jack does not work but the asio built in card does.

DUDE I GOT THE SAME ISSUE..thing has a fkn MIND OF ITS OWN
Sometimes it works PERFECT then other times it just mess and it does different things even though Im using the same settings! Im taking this bitch back before my 30 days are up!

This is so true,i get the same problem,you can hear it in all of my recordings,also my right line is louder than my left line. and at times it just does what it wants to do. I brought this system because i heard it was the bomb,sometimes i think it is a bomb not knowing when its going to blow up in my face at a party...HELP!!!!

Why dont you just download traktor ? vms4 aint that gud with vdj :E

@pumpitdj I've spent hours trying different things. Even things I don't think will work at all. The only way I've been able to get things to work 'right' is Advanced Setup and assign each deck the channels along with the headphones/master/booth channels. It's the closest thing I've come up with. It's still not right.... :(

I have since switched to Traktor. I've also has some major issues with it. BUT! After about a day of messing around, I was able to get everything working just fine. I'll be posting a link to my mapping.

Found a good mapping and I got this issue fixed. Finally got everything working as it should. Only took a year. :( Now time to replace the craptastic cross-fader!!
