MacrossFrontier-Ever Dream

An AMV that started as one thing and quickly became another and I'm really happy with it, which I hope you are too. It follows the relationship between Alto and Sheryl (disclaimer No. 1: I don't have an opinion one way or the other of Sheryl or Ranka) using one of my favorite Nightwish songs. (Disclaimer No. 2: I don't have a feeling one way or another on Tarja or Annette).

On a side note, I realize the beginning is a little epic, but please bear with it, I think it's worth it.

@wayne024 The American company took Macross, and hacked it up and made it into a show called Robotech. Then they proceeded to add two other japanese shows that had nothing in common story wise, and fit them into the 'robotech universe'.

Yep. It's not bad. There are some silly moments, but it's pretty good. Other than that, I stick primarily with Macross and Gundam. I tried Guran Langan or however it's spelled, but couldn't get into it.

ah zero is the prequel like when earth first gets attacked or somethin like that i read the summary im not a huge fan of support short anime especially mecha. Have you seen evangelion by chance im at a shortage of mecha anime atm so im searchin!

Zero definitely compares, but be ready for more of a story with less action, only because it's a five-episode OVA. The good thing is, when the action comes, it slams you in the face. In my opinion it's among the best Macross action in the whole series.

i havent seen macross zero but ive seen frontier and all the gundams how would you say zero compares (or have you only been keeping 'tabs' on it as it in waiting for it)

Pretty much I think you can assume that there isn't anything the Japanese have done in anime that America can do better.

lol just an American company super pissed off that they finally came out with a good mecha, and then Japan took it and made it into a wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy­y better anime (robotech < macross) haha

I would be surprised myself. I've been keeping tabs because I really want to get my grubby mits on both Frontier and Zero, but so far nadda. I don't get why really. I mean Macross and Gundam are pretty closely connected to each other and Gundam has found a good niche over here. Shame really.
