Recently completed video demonstrating the CAA/Suhr PT100 amp and G-System Ltd. Not much playing here, just demoing some new sounds I've added to the system. Hope you like it.

  • Nice video mate! Just wondered, where did you get your pedal case from?

  • Hi there, Thanks for your kind words and I got the case off eBay and it was made by a company called Spider Cases I think. Cheers Pete

  • nice to see a scottish fella with a G-system....I don't think there are many of us. No doubt I'll have a tonne of questions on the forum for you in the future!

  • Lol...Edinburgh born and bred here...great to meet you too! Any questions, just fire away sir!...Cheers for checking out the video too!...All the best, Pete

  • oooH, I've always loved that Robin Trower sound. Very authentic. Like the soft overdrive too. I used to split the output from the pedals to the amp and mix clean with sustain for that. Nice to do it the way you do it. Cooo, David Gilmore riff - nice demo of your pedals. Nice note on cabling and noise too. Thanks Pete

  • Thanks very much indeed for your really kind words and also for checking out the video. Hope all is well. Cheers, Pete

  • @damcka Hi there, Really looking at one of these G-systems, I currently use the DMC GCX switcher and ground control pro, I'm from Coatbride and have a rather large 10" rack on casters , in pretty much great condition. Anyways ,this is a great vid, I'm wanting to move away from the switcher to something simpler (cabling wise) :)

  • @Pete130662 ah cool. Im just in Livingston, but work in Edinburgh.

I just building up my set up just now. I've opted for the rack route...therefore I'm expecting to have some noise issues. So far it's Marshall El34 50/50, JMP-1 Pre-amp, G-System (in the rack), TC Nova Drive......only thing is I don't have a cabinet yet! I want to get something with Celestion V30 speakers....but it seems its only Mesa that run them as "stock".....decisions afoot.

Ps, my videos are all fairly old (pod xt)

  • Thanks so much!...Cheers! Pete

  • WOW! Real hot sounding 6:21 - 6:44! Great! Cheers!
