I was checking out some male Betta fighting fish at Wal-Mart and saw that 5 out of 6 of them were dead. High cost of low prices.

  • Poor little guys, I got mine from wal-mart cause he was the only one alive and I didn't want to see him end up dead. I wish if stores and pet stores where going to buy and sell Bettas they would take better care of them, it is just sad

  • I got my awesomely pretty beta fish Freddy from Petco, and rescued Benji from walmart today :]

  • That is so fu**ed UP!!! U got my 2 betta fish from Walmart when I seen them in 3 inches of water I felt bad so u bought them and now they are in a 1 gallon tank but as of right now the male is guarding the fish fry and there both so so so soooo........ Beautiful

  • Wtf I've never seen any pets at my Walmart, I got my 4 betas from petsmart and they were kept in MUCH better condition than this!!! This is so CRULE, how could they! Fuck them!😱😨😭

  • I saved my bata from Walmart yesterday he lives in a 5 gallon tank he loves it it has light great filter and nice plants and rocks :) I'll make vid soon

  • I'm glad I rescued one yesterday. Poor fish swimming in his own waste he's happy in a two gallon now

  • Fucking walmart!

Those fish died for these reasons:

    1. Kept in EXTREMELY small space

    2. No filter or heater

    3. No one to clean the water - left swimming in their own waste

  • @dangerinthechamber45 It isn't the price. It is the fact that these are live creatures. It would be like some big huge creature like a whale or something thinking you are just a little human so your death wouldn't matter... Not true!

  • @Axel10011 Same here. Mine didn't have so little water that he was laying on his side but, he had maybe less then an inch of water to swim in and this was at a pet store. He now lives in a bout a gallon- no heater or filter but hey it is better then an inch of water in a bowl I wouldn't even grow a plant in.

  • i saw about 30 of these at my local wal mart and i felt so bad for them. although i wanted to save them all i only had room for 1 i chose the one that had so little water in his cup that he had to lay on his side to be submerged in it. i could only afford a half gallon tank for him but at least its a little more room than a half a centimeter of water ya know?

  • The Bettas Probably passed cause of ammonia billd up in the cups well waiting for someone to buy them. It is deffinatly a sad ending to such beautiful fish.
