1992 Barcelona Olympics - Mens Basketball Medal Award Ceremony (Part 1)

This is the first part of the medal award ceremony for mens basketball at the 1992 Summer Olympics held in Barcelona, Spain. There were several milestones during this event. This was the first time professional athletes were allowed to compete. This was also the first time Croatia and Lithuania earned medals since declaring their independence from Yugoslavia and the U.S.S.R., respectively. This part of the video features teams USA and Croatia being awarded the gold and silver medals, respectively.

im so proud of them, the best team ever in the history of basketball, i don't think they will ever be a player like them. they were not only great players but they were inventors, i think thats what makes the difference with today's players, these guys were pioneers they live in an era in which they could create and make their own names, but now all we have are copycats.
