I've just discovered this band less than 10 minutes ago, and this song just blew my mind!

@DantesLastShowDown I used to think that but then I discovered Opeth. I don't like their newest album, and I don't like their first one either, but the ones in between range from good to fucking amazing. @DantesLastShowDown Thanks! I'll give them a listen. Another couple of bands I discovered the same day I found Seventh Wonder that I really liked are Haken and especially Darkwater. I'm pretty picky, I guess. I love virtuoso shredding, but it can't just be over the top of what I consider "mindless grinding." I love complex stuff with lots of key and time signature changes. But I'm bored with macho posturing and try-to-shock-your-parents death metal. Too cartoonish.

@Fleatheverrybest I've heard a few Symphony X songs that didn't do much for me, but I love most of their songs that I've heard so far and I've been planning to buy Paradise Lost. Thanks for the other suggestions!

@bradff7 Thanks! I just discovered Hammerfall, too. Didn't like them quite as much as Seventh Wonder, but they were definitely worth listening to. I appreciate the suggestions! I'll check 'em out.
